SL theory - SL is the capability to anticipate change and articulate direction, align human and structtures and processes, and assure results in complex environments. To do so, leaders must think and work in a strategic way. What this means, to us, is that leaders must be able to:
ANTICIPATE change in your environment, get a team agreed on a target by developing a shared reality, and then
ARTICULATE a shared direction, and then create actionable plans that reach the hearts and minds of followers.
ALIGN followers in a common cause by cultivating the conditions that encouage people to embrace solutions and act upon them, and then
ASSURE results by prudent use of clear non gameable metrics, teach the organizations point of view, recruit for cutural and performnce fit, encourage self management, make learning a priority and tie rewards to performance.
We believe your ability to Anticiapte, Articulate, Align and Assure are strengthened when you employ the SL Method [stated in form of a puzzle] - What is going on here? what has to happen here? 'How do I make it happen? How do I keep making it happen?
We also believe that your ability to emply the SL Method successfully is dependent on cultivating within yourself a AGILE mindset, and ARTISTICALLY employing a multi-facted set of leader actons.
